Located near the southern tip of Japan, the Saga Classic Golf Club offers a luxurious full-scale championship course covering over 1.25 million square meters in Saga Prefecture.
With convenient access from Fukuoka and Nagasaki airports, Taku City is home to one of Japan’s most prominent and grand Confucian temples, Taku Seibyo. An idyllic and quiet part of Japan, Taku is also home to one of the newest championship courses in Saga Prefecture – the Saga Classic Golf Club.
Designed by Koji Nakamura, the Saga Classic Golf Club recognizes elements of Nakamura’s time studying under Shoichi Suzuki and reflects subtle elements of the Classic Golf Club in Fukuoka designed by Suzuki. At the Saga Classic, the design philosophies of both men are intertwined in a unique way into the golf course’s rolling hills and natural environment.
